Parking & Transportation for Byblos campus students

Parking (Spring 2019)

Parking stickers & access cards can be collected,  between January 2 and 11 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., from the Logistics Office – Dorm A building, Room 703. A copy of the car insurance is needed. 

Parking fee will be added to the tuition and listed on the Statement of Fees.

Parking lot rules

Permit and access:

  • Campus parking lots are restricted to cars with LAU permits only.
  • No vehicle will be allowed to enter the campus and parking without a valid sticker.
  • Permit should be affixed on the windshield - passenger side.
  • Permit is non-transferable.
  • The permit is the property of LAU and can be revoked at any time if found necessary by the administration for non-compliance to the rules and regulations.

Parking Rules:

  • Cars should be parked properly in the areas designated for students.
  • Parking is prohibited in restricted areas.
  • Drivers are expected to respect all signage and rules applicable in the parking lots.
  • Drivers are expected to comply with protection staff instructions at all times.
  • Speed limit in the campus is 15 km/h.
  • Blocking entrances to building and driveways is prohibited.
  • Parked cars constituting a threat to safety are subject to being towed away at owner’s expense.
  • Accepting the parking permit, the student acknowledges that LAU assumes no liability for theft or damages to vehicles parked on campus.

Violation:

  • Parking violation/tickets issued more than twice per semester will result in cancellation of the parking permit.
  • All Tickets must be paid to the business office cashier within 10 business days to avoid further penalties.

All questions, suggestions and complaints regarding parking should be directed to the parking attendant.
