Get your LAU ID card
As an LAU student, you will get an ID after you settle your statement of fees. The ID is valid for one academic year (until September 30 ). You must always carry your ID.
Take your national ID (or passport) to the ID office on your campus to get your LAU ID card.

If you lose or damage your ID, you should pay a fee of $10 at the Business Office before you are issued a replacement.
Set up your LAU email account
Every student gets an LAU email address that becomes the official means of communication between the university and the students. It is your responsibility to regularly check and read your LAU emails.
- Go to https://iam.lau.edu.lb/firstlogon
- Enter the username and password as mentioned in your Offer of Admissions:
- Username: firstname.lastname (for example john.smith)
- Password: L@uddmmyyyy where ddmmyyyy is your date of birth (for example February 5, 1981 = 05021981)
- Enter a new password of your choice
- Fill in three questions and answers of your choice. Remember these answers in order to reset your password by yourself, if you need so in the future
- Agree to the terms and conditions
- To regulary check your e-mail, go to www.outlook.com and log on with your username (username@lau.edu) and your new password

Get a post office box
LAU has a Post Office where you can receive mail, both from LAU offices and from outside the university. You will be given a mail box number and a key to it.
