Annual deposit

To be able to register for the fall 2012, you are required to pay a deposit of LL 450,000 ($300)  two working days before your registration date.

If you don’t pay the deposit, you cannot sign up for courses until the late registration period and you will incur a late registration fee (check the current amount). Returnees (students returning from suspension or withdrawal) and Intensive English students are exempted from this fee because they don’t have the opportunity to register sooner.

The deposit amount will appear on your statement of fees as a credit toward the next semester’s tuition. But take note, if you decide to take the next semester off, the deposit is not refundable.

How to pay your deposit

Print the statement of deposit from the web by following these steps:

  1. Log in at https://banweb.lau.edu.lb.
  2. Choose Student Services and Financial Aid.
  3. Choose Student Record.
  4. Choose Print Statement of Deposit.
  5. The Statement of Deposit will appear on the screen. Print two copies.

Take the two printouts to any branch of one of the following banks by the deadline:

  • Byblos Bank
  • BLOM Bank
  • Fransabank
  • Bank Audi
  • Bank of Beirut
  • Bank Med
  • BBAC

Payments must be made in cash (LBP or USD) or by banker’s/certified check paid to the order of the bank-LAU account. Personal checks are not accepted.
